Rochdale is in Greater Manchester, in the North West of England,
approximately 12 miles from Manchester city centre, at the foot of the
Pennines.
From the
M62 Motorway take the exit at Junction 20 for Rochdale.
At the top of the slip road, take the exit signposted Rochdale, on to the
A627M. This is approx 1/2 mile long. Keep in the right hand lane, and at the
traffic lights at the bottom, turn right on to the A664, signposted Todmorden. You come immediately to a
roundabout, take the first exit left onto the dual carriageway, this is still
the A664 Queensway.
Travel approx. 3 miles straight on this road. There are several sets of
traffic lights, and a new gyratory roundabout, keep on the A664 straight on all
the way. You will pass Gordon Riggs garden centre on the left, Morrisons
Supermarket on the left, a McDonalds restaurant on the right. The name of the
road changes from Queensway, to Kingsway and finally to Albert Royds Street,
but is still the A664. Continue on this road, until you come to another roundabout,
there are only two exits, right or left. Take the first exit left, this is
A58 Halifax Road.
We are approx. 500yds down on the right, in the row of shops just after the
pelican crossing. There is short stay parking in the lay-by at the front of
the shop, or if that is full there is a car park at the rear.
